I first reached out to Dundas Life on February 7, 2023 and started the Life Insurance process. On March 14, 2023 we... had completed all of the testing and in the end it didn’t work out not to Dundas’ fault but the way insurance companies underwrite.I received a letter from the insurance company in late March but didn’t get any feedback until Steve reached out on April 17, 2023 weeks later.I then reached out again on September 28, 2023 to see my options and was told both Steve and Greg were away until October 10, 2023 after thanksgiving long weekend which is fine.I set up an appointment on October 16, 2023 at 12:00 pm and had multiple automated reminders for the appointment.I received a text message from Greg stating the call will be conducted at 12:10 pm instead of the appointment time of 12:00 pm.When 12:35 pm rolled around with no contact, I texted Greg to no longer contact me. Dundas Life doesn’t communicate well with this client and I still require Life Insurance options, so I have opted to look elsewhere.I’m sure Dundas Life can get their client’s insurance needs, but would recommend better communication skills and time management skills to meet client expectations.I would not recommend using Dundas Life for your insurance needs as communications and professionalism is number one when trusting a broker for your insurance needs.read more

I was looking for an insurance that would pay for funeral costs. Over the phone, I spoke with a Dundas agent who guided... me through a very smooth procedure. An electronic quote was sent after that. Finally, I received a paper copy of a policy in the mail after receiving it via email. Since the process was done virtually and I was aware of previous web-based offerings that weren't quite trustworthy, I was wary. Everything went according to schedule, and the service was simply great.read more

I purchased a very large joint policy in 2008 with premiums of $4000.00/month. The policy had a savings component... attached that is tied to the investment marketplace performance. We cancelled the policy in April of 2022 and received confirmation that it was cancelled. The timing of the cancelation was based on the expected drop in the market. IA continued to take the following months payment after the policy was confirmed cancelled as of April 19, 2022. After numerous attempts to get my payout IA decided to use the date of June 2022 for the value of my payout some $15,000.00 less than the cancelation value plus an additional$4000.00 premium. It has taken 6 months and I am still not paid in full and the advisor who is very incompetent negotiated my settlement down because he was to blame for numerous errors. IA collected some $700,000.00 in premiums from me that they received on time and in full yet denied my full payout due to their negligence.My advice is find a better company and a better advisor than I had.read more

I found his contact somewhat cold, at times unprofessional and unwelcoming. I found some of his contact to even be rude given the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted many of our lives. Decided to stay away as I didn’t feel this was the best choice for me.read more
